The Western States Council is a chartered body of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, and covers the states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.
The Council is a non-profit organization that strives to promote protection of the rights of working families within the UFCW and economic justice for all working families.
The Council assists the UFCW Local Unions within its jurisdiction, coordinates activities in areas such as voter education , charitable actions, the monitoring of legislation and also attempts to increase public understanding of economic issues and justice for workers and their families. |
